Paringa Merlot 2007

Firebrick red color apparent throughout continues to the rim of the glass. Succulent raspberry and plum aromas originate initially from the glass, with an underlying violet perfume and a slight toasty spice generated from oak maturation. Soft red fruit aromas of the nose are apparent on the palate providing a perceived sweetness, while a subtle acidity and ripe tannins derived from gentle maceration produce a moderate bodied wine and a delicate lingering finish.
