Jim Barry The Lodge Hill Shiraz 2006

This wine is deep garnet in colour, with purple tints. On the nose there are intense aromas of varietal fruit, with an underlying layer of complexity. The palate shows vibrant summer berries—primarily mulberry, strawberry and boysenberry, with background nuances of rose petals and spearmint. The fine grained talc-like soft tannins support a refreshing and enduring finish.

A wine developed for immediate consumption, with a cellaring capacity of 5-7 years. Suited to robust red dishes such as kangaroo, beef or lamb.
